LOCATION
Risto`s Guest Houses are located on the western slopes of Mount Galichitsa in the village of Elshani, 10 kn south of Ohrid and 2 km driving distance from the shores of Lake Ohrid .The buses coming from Ohrid stop at the Central Bus Stop of Elshani, which is only 200-300 meters from the houses.

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is offered in one(individual visitors) or several different family homes(for groups),all situated in the same neighborhood. All houses are equipped with bathrooms (some rooms are with private bathroom and some with shared ).Freshly prepared traditional food and home made drinks are served as well.
For our guests we have prepared a selection of activities, such as walks in the National Park or daily excursions around the Lake of Ohrid.We can introduce you to fascinating natural beauties and cultural treasures of the area including many villages, medieval churches and monasteries.
The people of Elshani still produce a variety of food for themselves or for market: garden vegetables; meat and dairy products from their livestock; home made bread; honey; apples from their orchards; mushrooms, herbs, and berries from the forest; and fish from Ohrid Lake.Some of the villagers have opened their homes to tourist who can enjoy a meal prepared from mostly local produce in a rural village atmosphere.
You will always be welcomed with homemade rakija (local brandy, much stronger than normal liquor), and salads. There is a menu on the table, but the host will also introduce the dishes. Soup, pie, or peppers with fresh yoghurt (or all of them) are served as an appetizer. Turli-tava (baked vegetables and meat), musaka, or tavshe-gravche with meat follows as the entree. In season, local wine and juice are offered. At the end of the meal you get seasonal fruit as a farewell. e of the villagers have opened their homes to tourists who can enjoy a meal prepared from mostly local produce in a rural village atmosphere.
